Quick Tabs feature in IE9 shows thumbnail previews of all tabs opened in a window. With Quick Tabs users can view the tabs opened as a thumbnail and then easily switch to a particular tab by clicking the thumbnail. This feature already exists in IE7 and 8 versions but has been disabled by default in IE9, let us take a look how to enable Quick Tabs in IE9.

1. From Tools menu click Internet Options.

2. Click the General Tab, and under Tabs options click Settings.

3. Now select ‘Enable Quick Tabs’ and click Ok.  You will be required to restart the browser for this feature to take effect.

Now that the Quick Tabs feature has been enabled in Internet Explorer 9, you can get thumbnail previews of all tabs opened by using the Ctrl + Q shortcut.
